lyrics
Evil eyes stare at you, you're strapped to a hospital bed
Try to break free and your mind begins to twist, as unknown chemicals flow through your head
Anastasia, and your vision begins to dim
The scalpel enters.. and darkness closes in
PSYCHO SURGEON
Twisting your mind
PSYCHO SURGEON
with a cranial drill
PSYCHO SURGEON
morbid malpractice
PSYCHO SURGEON
coming for you
Mixing toxins, building his army of drones
Harvesting organs, malicious doctor taking full control
Capturing more victims, with a suringe needle in his hand
Driven by evil, his terror has no end
PSYCHO SURGEON
Twisting your mind
PSYCHO SURGEON
With a cranial drill
PSYCHO SURGEON
morbid malpractice
PSYCHO SURGEON
coming for you....

Think not this is another boring, samey thrash salad! Like a deadly flower, memorable riffs bloomed as the album went on. By the end, I am ready to sit under the tree, drinking from a skullcup and pondering the riddle of steel. Excellent blend of thrash with other flavors (from trad metal to Western), evoking the might and danger of the cover's diabolical warriors. Bonus for production: love hearing the bark and rasp of pick on strings without it being scrubbed away by computery production. pinkytheent

I've gotten myself into GR by first getting their last album, then decided to give this one a go too. Atoms divide, life decays, seems we are into nuclear explosions here, that is how GR feels, a powerful and fast blitz and stormy riffs and groovy hardcorish - thrashy blasts. Highly recommended for all thrash lovers out there. Toxic Holocaust does come in mind, true that, Wraith, Municipal Waste fans should love this ! sachavonkarl74

Sometimes when bands move from demo to first release, they lose something: not as fast or not as evil or too produced.
This album is not one of them.
The recording is cleaner, so you can hear things better than _Rise of Death_ but otherwise, this has the same black thrash from the speed layer of the Abyss sound.
Highly recommended for fans of Shakma, Nuclear Revenge, early Kreator, or Gallower.
Several horns way up. perverseosmosis
The Brazilian metal outfit teaches a lesson in exemplary thrash, delivering palm-mute chugging, dexterous fretwork, and infuriated-but-intelligible vocals on every song Bandcamp Album of the Day Jan 21, 2021
